No-Interest-Loan Scheme (NILS)
0% interest and no fees or charges, EVER. We are an approved No Interest Loans (NILs) Provider.

Washing machine broken down? Unexpected car repairs? Need a new laptop for work or school? We’ll pay the invoice for you (NO CASH).
Unexpected expenses are bound to pop up from time to time. Don’t choose an option that might get you into trouble later. With NILs, you only pay back what you borrow, nothing more.
HOW DOES NILs WORK?
Submit your invoice with your application and NILs will pay it straight to the supplier / vendor. Loans cannot be used for cash, bills, debts or rent.
HOW MUCH CAN I BORROW?
Borrow up to $2000 for essentials such as appliances or furniture, car repairs, a new computer or laptop, medical, dental or vet expenses.
Borrow up to $3000 for bond on a new rental property or for recovery from a natural disaster.
WHAT CAN I USE A NILS LOAN FOR?
Borrow up to $2000 for essential goods and services including:
- Household items like appliances, whitegoods & furniture
- Car repairs
- Medical, dental, wellbeing & life event expenses
- Technology like a computer or laptop (up to $2000 limit)
- Technology like a phone, tablet & other small electronic devices (up to $1000 limit)
- Education expenses like fees or uniforms
- Employment expenses like licenses or equipment.
Borrow up to $3000:
- Bond on a new rental property
- Costs associated with a natural disaster.
- NILs cannot be used for cash, bills, rent or debts.
AM I ELIGIBLE?
- Health Care or Pension card
- OR Earn less than $70,000 (before tax) as a single
- OR Earn less than $100,000 (before tax) if you have a partner or dependants
- OR Have experienced family or domestic violence in the last 10 years
- AND you have lived at your current address for a minimum of three months
- AND you can show you can afford to repay the loan (Centrepay and direct debit available).

Venue Hire
You can rent any of The Bulli Community Centre’s 2 rooms or 2 halls for venue hire for your event, meeting or classes. We have a Zoom specific meeting room. There are kitchen and outdoor facilities, tables and chairs, wheelchair access and off-street parking.
Information & Referral Service
Advice/guidance or information for individuals or families in relation to a specific topic, referrals to other service providers or pitching the existing organisation.
Food Pantry
The Food Pantry will commence for the Bulli, Woonona, Russel Vale areas on Thursday’s from 9.00am – 10:30am & will be available on a weekly basis.
Conditions apply: One bag per visit.
The Community Food Pantry supports people experiencing food crises with non-perishables, fresh produce, bread, frozen meals and other essential items. The Service relies on Coles SecondBite, OZHarvest, volunteers and the goodwill of local businesses and the community for food donations.
Community Garden
Bulli Community garden is open to anyone who is keen to get their hands dirty! This fun-loving community garden loves to teach people all things gardening. The garden is busy with seedling events, harvesting new produce and welcoming friendly new faces to their garden. For more information call the centre or email support@bullicommunitycentre.com.au
